Our history
- Centros SBC®
SBC® was founded in Barcelona in 2006 with its first 460 m² Business Center in the Lesseps area, driven by great enthusiasm and the idea of developing a different business concept with a strong commitment to service. From the outset, we were clear about the cornerstones upon which our entire project should be built: comfort, technology, and exceptional customer service.
After all this time, we can confidently say that the SBC® concept was a success, as evidenced by the creation of 7 Business Centers in Barcelona and 2 in Madrid.
Leadership in service provision is reserved for those companies that are able to offer excellent service at a truly competitive price and maintain this balance over time. As the years go by, we remain as determined as we were at the beginning, improving every day, and with the added strength that comes from having an ever-growing number of clients who place their trust in us.
- Constant development
- In November 2006 we opened our first Business Centre, SBC Lesseps with 24 offices and 2 meeting rooms.
- In 2011 our second Centre, SBC Tarradellas, opened with 1000 m2, 40 offices and 4 meeting rooms.
- In June 2012 we inaugurated SBC Diagonal-Trade, an exclusive Business Centre with 14 exterior offices, located on the 10th floor of the emblematic TRADE office complex in Barcelona.
- In January 2013, SBC Tarradellas was expanded with two more floors and 1000 m2 more, going from 40 to 80 offices available to our clients in this same building.
- In January 2015 we opened SBC Universitat, our fourth Business Centre in Barcelona, located 150 metres from Plaza de Cataluña, in the centre of the city.
- In June 2016, we started the activity of SBC Beethoven, located on the corner of this same street with Bori Fontesta, a prestigious residential area with hardly any supply of office spaces and therefore with an excellent reception from our clients.
- In October 2017, we expanded SBC Universitat with a new floor. Specifically, the penthouse, with 15 new offices, some of which have private terraces and spectacular views from Collserola to the sea.
- In September 2020, we inaugurated our sixth Business Center. SBC Diagonal-Tuset fulfills a long-held ambition of our business group to have a presence in the Diagonal-Tuset area, an economic district that is particularly attractive to a range of small and medium-sized service companies seeking a highly valued location in Barcelona.
- In July 2022, we opened our seventh SBC Business Center in Barcelona: SBC Aribau. Located less than 400 meters from Plaça Francesc Macià, on the corner of Travessera de Gràcia and Aribau, this SBC Center has had a promising future from the moment it opened.
- In November 2024, we opened our eighth SBC Center, this time in Madrid. We were eager to establish ourselves in the Spanish capital, and we did so with SBC Madrid Centro in the Palacios neighborhood, part of which is also known as Habsburg Madrid. It's a bustling area with a vibrant commercial and business scene, near the Almudena Cathedral, on the corner of Calle Mayor.
- In June 2026, we opened SBC Villa El Viso, our second Business Center in Madrid, located in the most exclusive neighborhood of the Chamartín district. This truly unique Business Center is situated in a villa surrounded by gardens, trees, and lawns, making daily work a pleasure thanks to the peaceful and tranquil natural environment just steps from Paseo de la Castellana.
- With more than 250 offices, nearly 2000 clients including office users and registered companies, and with the business concept developed, the time has come to implement it in other cities.
- Leading the present
Today, SBC® is the largest Spanish group of Business Centers in Barcelona and Madrid, and also a national leader in terms of revenue and number of clients.
The trust of our clients and the solid development of the SBC® project reinforce SBC®’s expansion plan, which includes the upcoming opening of new Centers in the cities of Valencia, Bilbao, and Seville, before undertaking international projects.
